The Naabathon is the first Star Atlas ecosystem Hackathon, sponsored by the Punaabs of Ogrika Industries. During the event, the subscribed teams will compete by submitting new applications that interact with the Star Atlas existing programs in different award categories for prizes.
Great question! The name is an homage to the gracious Punaabs of Ogrika Harbors, who accepted the leading sponsorship of our very first hackathon! The Punaab species, as a whole, are naturally passionate about supporting innovation, so they didn’t hesitate to jump in right away and support this event. Cheers to our little fellows!
$25k is the total asset value provided by ATMTA, divided into two ships: an Ogrika Sunpaa ($9600) for the overall winner and an Ogrika Tursic ($2475) for each category winner. Alongside other prizes awarded by other Naabathon sponsors for a total of $50,000 in prizes.
The Naabathon starts on July 24th with the opening of inscriptions for the teams for each award category and goes to September 7th, with the last day for submissions. From September 7th to September 20th, the judges will evaluate the submissions, and the Naabathon will conclude with a live event during the Star Atlas Summit on September 21st, where the winners of each category will be announced.
The Naabathon is a digital event, so teams worldwide and within the Galia Expanse may apply regardless of location. Nevertheless, the winners will be announced during a physical celebration ceremony at the Star Atlas Impact Summit on September 21st in Singapore.
